God Our Father,

In your loving providence you send your holy angels to watch over us.

Hear our prayers and defend us always by their protection and let us share your life with them for ever

The Touch of the Angel's Hand

Life is so generous a giver but we, judging its gifts by their covering, cast them away as ugly, or heavy, or hard. Remove the covering and you will find beneath it a living splendor, woven of love, by wisdom, with power.

Welcome it, grasp it, and you touch the angel's hand that brings it to you.  Everything we call a trial, a sorrow, or a duty, believe me, an angel's hand is there.

Angel Wings

Through my tears, I see an unadorned hand reaching out.

Through my pain, I feel the soft touch of a feather.

Then I hear, in the soft wisp of a whisper, a voice as I have never heard before.

"Cry not . . . I am here.  I have always been here, and forever will be here."

I reach out, and find nothing. Yet I feel the comfort of being wrapped in warmth.

I feel the soft touch of a feather, and I know…

I am wrapped in the wings of an Angel.
